About Lee ‘Final Table’ Nelson

One of the most successful tournament poker players of the past decade, Lee Nelson did not start playing tournament poker seriously until the late 1990s. His skill, dedication and experience have helped him to victory in some of the world’s most prestigious tournaments. His tournament CV includes wins in the 2005 World Open in 2005 and the Speed Poker event at the 2005 Aussie Millions Australian Poker Championships.
However, his crowning glory came in January 2006 when he won the $A10,000 buy-in championship event at the Aussie Millions, earning him a first prize of $A1.3 million. Lee Nelson is co-author of best-selling poker books Kill Phil (with Blair Rodman) and Kill Everyone (with Tysen Streib and Kim Lee). He is the onscreen poker talent for the popular TV series Celebrity Joker Poker.
