In celebration of Menu Magazine turning 10 years old, publisher Scott Arnold-Eyers marks the milestone by putting together a second recipe book featuring recipes from some of the best cafes, bars, and restaurants that have featured in the magazine during this time. Masters of Menu Recipe Book 2 contains 51 recipes from well-known chefs and venues throughout W.A., as well as a few from families affected by Cystic Fibrosis.

Cystic Fibrosis is a disease of the respiratory system but less is known about its effect on the other organs of the body. Whilst most people would recognise a food pyramid with vegetables and grains at the bottom and protein at the top, the pyramid is turned upside down for children with CF. Finding it difficult to absorb the goodness from food, children living with CF require a very high calorie diet and many will take up to 40 enzyme tablets a day to aid with digestion.

High calorie meals can also be delicious for anyone wanting to indulge, within moderation of course.

“In 2008 my wife gave birth to a beautiful girl named Jade. Shortly after her birth she was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis and since then we have done what we can to help raise money for this cause. The first edition of Masters of Menu was a great success which is why we decided to do it again with new chefs, venues and recipes. All profits from this book once again will be donated to helping those with Cystic Fibrosis”. Scott Arnold-Eyers explains.
