What an exciting time it is for us at Menu Magazine. Believe it or not but in late 2005 we started setting up our little office and preparing the first issue of Menu Magazine, which was published mid-2006. So much has happened since this time, and looking at the current issue, I am proud to see that there are so many other businesses still with us today. Not happy to see how I have aged however, after looking back at old pictures. Expect the unexpected for the 10 year anniversary issue due out at the end of this year…

On our journeys this issue, we were invited to the launch of the new Foodbank centre for hunger relief that will feed thousands of needy people for many years to come. If you have unwanted or out of date food, please contact them by visiting www.foodbankwa.org.au

This issue we thought it would be interesting to see what has happened to hospitality in WA over the past 10 years. What areas are booming and what ones are not?

We met up with Adriano Zumbo to talk about his new book, food and his career.

Jeremy looks at a trend we think is going to take off - beer mixers.

So where do our local grape vines come from? Georgina tells us.

Harry Ferrante launches his first book and writes about what Italians like, and the origins of tipping.

Most of us like a bit of lamb once in a while, but just how many varieties are there and do we eat them all?

Georgina gives us tips on catering for parties and finger foods. She also does a bit of Myth Busting on Bread and gets to the nitty gritty of our liquor license laws as it seems everyone is confused.

Carmen talks about Mangos and discusses why we should or should not pay for water in cafés / restaurants. We also sent her to the jungles of Columbia to see where coffee beans are grown and how the locals live.
