1. A thoughtful handmade card
I still have a collection of ones my son has given me over the years.
2. Fresh flowers
I love bunches of flowers that look like they have just been picked from a lovely country garden. Something simple like roses mixed with herbs like rosemary then wrapped in brown paper and tied with string.
3. A handmade teapot
Preferably made by someone who I know something about. Bridget Bodenham who is based near Daylesford in country Victoria does beautiful work.
4. Champagne and a homecooked meal
A good bottle of Champagne never goes astray.
