I have been wanting to write to you for a long time. My husband & I were lucky enough to visit the U.K some 9 years ago, and I fell in Love with everything about it, and I find that by reading your friends magazine every week I learn so much more about you every week. I have always loved the artistic works that goes with every story you have, they always seem to match so well, I love everything about the magazine and devour it as soon as it's in my hands, love the period stories especially, as well as the serials. I live in a small farming Community in Gippsland Victoria Australia and we are now retired from Dairy Farming.

My mum Dorothy Jones loves reading the people's Friend. It is like a friend away from home as she now lives in Australia with her 6 children, 12 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren. We buy her the subscription every year and she tells us that's the best present we could give her.
