‘EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT’
With the picturesque English countryside the romantic backdrop on a warm June day, Madeleine de St Pierre Bunbury and George Packe-Drury-Lowe became husband and wife in one of the summer’s finest society weddings.
Madeleine, a renowned equine artist who is currently painting one of the King’s carriage horses and has previously been commissioned to paint horses belonging to the Prince of Wales and the late Queen Elizabeth II, looked beautiful in a period-inspired silk dress and antique lace veil.
The heirloom Drury-Lowe diamond tiara added a regal touch as she said “I do” to George, an entrepreneur, on their special day, to which HELLO! received an exclusive invitation.
George’s family seat, the magnificent Grade I-listed Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire – the home of the Packe family for more than 360…

THE INSIDE STORY
TEYANA AND JODIE DIAL UP THE GLAMOUR
The actresses Teyana Taylor and Jodie Turner‑Smith turned heads in Los Angeles last week at the BET Awards, which celebrate the achievements of black and other minority entertainers.
Teyana, 35, who wore a Stéphane Rolland gown, wept as she accepted the Icon of the Year award from Janet Jackson, calling her “my biggest inspiration”.
She also won three further awards, and posed for photos with Jodie, 39, who wore a butterfly‑motif dress by Roberto Cavalli.
Fellow guests included the singers Olivia Dean, Lizzo and Lauryn Hill. Lauryn received the inaugural Living Legend Icon Award.

HOLDING COURT
The All England Lawn Tennis Club’s annual championships at Wimbledon is one of the few events that perfectly encapsulate the British summer season. And in the first week of the famous tournament, HELLO! once again hosted a fabulous mix of stars from the worlds of fashion, TV, sport, comedy and society – in partnership with Emirates, the official airline partner of the Championships – for a wonderful day out. Among those who mingled inside our exclusive suite within the VIP hospitality area were the actress Vanessa Williams, the socialite and heiress Nicky Hilton Rothschild, the model David Gandy and the West End star Dame Elaine Paige.
The opera singer Katherine Jenkins and her husband, the artist and film-maker Andrew Levitas, were also in attendance, alongside the modelling icon Marie Helvin.…
KATE ACES IT
The Princess of Wales surprised tennis fans at Wimbledon when she made an unexpected appearance at the Championships last week. Kate, 44, a keen follower of the sport, began the fourth day of the tournament by meeting people in the venue’s famous queue. Wearing a blue linen suit by Gabriela Hearst, she spoke to those who had waited for hours – some of them since 4am – in the hope of getting a precious ticket.
The Princess, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, then joined stewards to help them take payments and hand out tickets.
Operating a card machine, she apologised for “taking ages” and told fans that they must be “desperate to get in and have a drink”.

ROYALS IN SCOTLAND
The King and Queen were joined by close family in taking part in a week-long annual celebration of Scottish culture, achievement and communities. The Prince of Wales – who is known as the Duke of Rothesay in Scotland – the Princess Royal and the Duke of Edinburgh travelled north to support Their Majesties during Royal Week, also known as Holyrood Week.
The visit also gave the most senior royals some private time together at a rare family dinner and overnight stay hosted by the King at his official Scottish residence, the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Charles and Camilla spent last Tuesday evening dining with Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Edward at the historic palace at the foot of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile before making a joint appearance the next day at…
PEAK FITNESS
The Princess of Wales has said that she is thankful to have been able to complete the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge to raise awareness of life beyond a cancer diagnosis.
Kate climbed the highest mountains in each of Britain’s three countries – Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Wales – within 24 hours, starting on Saturday 27 June. She undertook the challenge solo, with support along the route from Mountain Rescue.
“Lots of people have asked me why I’m doing this challenge,” she said in a video posted on social media. “Partly it’s personal – I’m so grateful to be here, to be strong enough to walk these hills – but, more importantly, it’s to give something back and acknowledge all the incredible…
SECRETS OF THE HEART
For a decade, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton was the right-hand man to Prince William and Prince Harry. He later helped William’s wife, Kate, settle into royal life, eventually becoming a godfather to their eldest child, Prince George.
Before that, he was a Special Air Service (SAS) troop and squadron commander, earning an MBE for his role in counter-narcotics operations in Colombia during the Nineties.
Now, he has written a gripping wartime thriller inspired by his extraordinary career and the remarkable life of his late mother. “It’s a funny feeling, but it’s rather exciting, actually,” he tells HELLO!’s A Right Royal Podcast.
As a young soldier in the Irish Guards during the Eighties, Jamie was plucked from a trench in Germany to spend two “unforgettable” years as equerry to Queen Elizabeth the Queen…
DIANA’S BOYS
‘SHE WAS MAGICAL WITH CHILDREN… THE BOYS WERE HER LIFE’Ingrid Seward In the week in which she would have turned 65, the sons of Diana, Princess of Wales, were worlds apart. Marking the date privately on opposite sides of the Atlantic, the distance between them perhaps greater than ever, they each honoured her memory in their own way, showing the compassion she had taught them.
For the Prince of Wales, that meant carrying Ikea furniture up three flights of stairs in Aberdeen as he helped to prepare a home for a tenant emerging from homelessness thanks to his Homewards initiative, a project inspired by the homeless people to whom he had been introduced by his mother when he was a boy.
For the Duke of Sussex, whose return to the…
CELEBRATING DIANA
Just days before she would have turned 65, fans of HELLO!’s A Right Royal Podcast gathered to celebrate the legacy of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
Inside the ballroom of the Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences London, they heard touching and revelatory details about the real Diana from one of her favourite dress designers, Jacques Azagury, as well as the authors Ingrid Seward and Andy Webb.
The guests were interviewed live on stage by our in-house experts and co-hosts of our podcast – HELLO!’s royal editor, Emily Nash, and digital content director, Andrea Caamaño.
Speaking about how Diana had managed to leave such an enduring legacy, Ingrid – who regularly chatted to the Princess during her time with the royal family and was in touch with her…
